Mata Am?itanandamayi, better known as “Amma” is an Indian Guru and spiritual leader who is revered as saint by her followers across the globe. Mata Amritanandamayi was born in 1953 in Alappad, a small coastal village in Kollam, Kerala. She was born as the third child of Shri Sugunanandan and Damayanti & has six siblings.
Even from her childhood, Amma captured the attention of many with her long hours of deep meditation by the seashore. Moreover as a little girl, she composed spiritually uplifting songs and was often seen singing with wholehearted devotion. Regardless of her tender age, her compositions conveyed exceptional insight and faith.
