The food was exceptional. Every meal was delicious, well-presented, and full of flavour. The variety and quality stood out.
What truly made the experience outstanding was the staff. Anikha and the team were incredibly warm, attentive, and professional, always going out of their way to make us feel comfortable and well cared for. Their hospitality made us feel right at home.

This is a very peaceful place with incredibly friendly staff. The rooms are lovely - we had a view of the lake. It’s very special to do the boat ride and the cooking demonstration (complimentary) and you should certainly have a treatment at the spa. We had traditional massages. You should be prepared to relax at meal times as food can take a while if you order off the menu. The sunset bar is a lovely place to watch the sunset and play cards ! Sadly we only had one night at Fragrant Nature Kochi but we loved it! The hotel is so pretty inside it makes you want to not leave! We had dinner here and the food was some of the best we’ve had in India during our holiday. The staff are so lovely here too, even trying to entertain our overtired one year old whilst we ate dinner. Although we didn’t get to use it due to our limited time, the rooftop pool looked wonderful! If we are ever in Kochi again we would absolutely stay here again!

RoomsThe rooms were large, clean and very relaxing to be in. The bathrooms were very pretty too and had great showers!
SafetyWe felt very safe at the hotel, there were always staff at reception and immediately outside. However the local area was a little less safe feeling when we went for a walk. Perhaps it was just less touristy but the locals were definitely a bit more aware of us than other areas we’ve been.
WalkabilityVery walkable to things to see, but it did feel a bit less touristy near the hotel and we didn’t feel as comfortable walking around as other places we’ve been to in India.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful resort along the Paravur Lake in Kollam. The property is spacious, well-maintained, and has a calm, refreshing ambience that keeps you very close to nature. We visited as a group of around 20–25 people, and the resort accommodated us comfortably with a mix of cottages and rooms, all of which were very spacious, neat, and well designed.
The rooms were super comfortable, the service was excellent, and the food was really good. The entire property is lush and green, making it perfect for a relaxed getaway. There were good entertainment options for kids as well, which made it a great choice for families.
A special highlight was the small amphitheatre on the property. We booked a band from outside, and the resort team thoughtfully arranged our dinner seating close to the amphitheatre, allowing us to enjoy live music while having dinner. This gesture really enhanced the overall experience.
We also enjoyed the small boat service on Paravur Lake, where we were guided through the serene backwaters. Guests could fish, take leisurely walks around the long property, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The private cottages and pools added to the exclusivity and comfort of the stay. Had ample parking space as well. Just make sure to check there is no other vehicle coming while taking the pocket road to the resort as it is narrow and hence chances of getting stuck is more.
Overall, it was a super good experience, and I would highly recommend this resort for group stays, family trips, or anyone looking for a relaxing, nature-filled escape.
